Guidance has been produced following the UK Government’s decision to proceed to Step 4 out of lockdown in England from 19 July 2021.

There are still cases of COVID-19 in England and there is a risk of catching or passing on the virus, even if you are fully vaccinated. We are encouraged to exercise caution and consider the risks and in order to continue to protect you as viewers and to protect home owners, tenants and our staff we have set out our viewing guidance below.

Before any viewings can be arranged could you please answer the following questions:-

Are you or any members of your household currently experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms?
Are you or any members of your household currently self-isolating?
Have you or any members of your household tested positive for coronavirus recently?
Have you or any members of your household recently returned from travelling outside the UK within the past 14 days?

Please note that if you do not answer these questions then we cannot arrange a viewing. Furthermore, if you develop any symptoms or you are told to self-isolate prior to your appointment then please contact us to let us know.

If you are displaying any symptoms when you arrive at the appointment then the appointment will not go ahead.

Please find set out below our company guidelines on viewings:-

  • Virtual viewings should be conducted before an appointment is made to view a property. Virtual tours can be found on our website where you will have the ability to walk around the property both inside and outside, do a 360 degree tour and take a look at the 3D floorplan which gives you enough detail to be able to measure for curtains for example.
  • Only then, if you are very interested, will we arrange a viewing at the property but at this time you must be in a position to proceed straight away should an offer you make be accepted.
  • We will not be able to drive you to an appointment.
  • Number of people attending a viewing should be kept to a minimum. No more than four including children.
  • Social distancing must be maintained during the viewing with a minimum of 2 metres distance throughout the appointment.
  • You should bring your own hand sanitiser to use at the start of the viewing and also wear a face mask or a face covering. This will help if social distancing is not possible in an enclosed space.
  • Viewings must be contactless. Avoid touching surfaces when you are in the property.
  • Second viewings can take place and the above must be followed.

I/we confirm that we have read and understood the above Guidance.

I/we acknowledge that I/we will arrive at the viewing with hand sanitiser, a mask or face covering to abide with the above guidance. I/we understand that the viewing will not be able to go ahead if this does not happen.

Thank you for your co-operation during this time.
